to october

i love october and i feel like i've already missed it. i know that doesnt make a lot of sense but i havent enjoyed this month to the fullest. i feel like the leaves in birmingham havent changed like they did last year either. no pumpkin carving, pies, or parties. is it just me?
ok there are only 10 days left... leaves better start changing and i better get to carving.

sidenote to my previous adventure: if you saw a couple with two cute little dogs asking for help, would you not help them? i kind of felt like a leper this weekend. no one even offered us a ride. greg and i both agreed that if we saw ourselves we would have helped.
